Battery discharge suppression function

Note
•  This function is established for suppressing battery discharge during vehicle manufacture and shipment, however, if a room fuse is removed from a vehicle while the total traveled distance is low, the function may operate when the vehicle is in the market.
•  The battery discharge suppression is a function in which the instrument cluster sends a battery discharge suppression signal to the following units based on the room fuse condition and the total traveled distance, and suppresses battery discharge by restricting the operation of electric load for the following units.

Unit

Control description

Front body control module (FBCM)
Day time running light turns off 5 min after it is illuminated. (Only when engine stopped)
Start stop unit
Ignition is switched off 25 min after ignition is switched to ACC or ON (engine off) (For ATX, only when selector lever is in P position).

•  The battery discharge suppression function operates when the total traveled distance is the threshold or less and the room fuse has been removed.
•  When the battery discharge suppression function is operated, the instrument cluster displays F0-002, F0-HHH, F0-LLL in the odometer/tripmeter of the instrument cluster to indicate that the battery discharge suppression function is operating.
•  The battery discharge suppression function is stopped under the following conditions.
―  Room fuse is installed
―  Engine is started
―  Total traveled distance exceeds the threshold value
