REAR BODY CONTROL MODULE (RBCM) BRACKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Bass-box (with Bose®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Third-row seat cushion (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Third-row seat back component (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Trunk side trim (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(10)  Rear body control module (RBCM) (See REAR BODY CONTROL MODULE (RBCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the cap nut, and then partially peel back the trunk insulator.

4.  While pressing the tabs of the clip in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the clip in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure to remove the clip from the rear body control module (RBCM) bracket.

5.  Remove the bolts.

6.  Remove the screw.

7.  Remove the rear body control module (RBCM) bracket.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
