USB ADAPTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2.  Remove the grove compartment. (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector.

4.  Remove the bolts.

5.  Remove the USB adapter.

6.  Remove the screw.

7.  Remove the USB adapter from the bracket.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front scuff plate (RH) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Front side trim (RH) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Shift knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Selector lever knob (ATX/CVT) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)(See CVT (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE) SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Set the bonnet release lever out of the way. (See BONNET LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the lower panel. (driver-side) (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Disconnect the USB adapter connector.

6.  Disconnect the keyless control module connector. (with keyless control module)

7.  Remove the bolts.

8.  Remove the USB adapter.

9.  Remove the screws.

10.  Remove the USB adapter from the bracket.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
