BUMPER SLIDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Front bumper slider

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper.(See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

3.  Remove the fasteners and screws at the positions shown in the figure.

4.  Pull the front bumper slider in the direction of arrow (1) while pressing the hook tab in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  When removing, pull the front bumper slider straight out from the rear fender panel so as not to damage the front bumper slider pin.

5.  Remove the front bumper slider while detaching the pin.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

7.  Perform the 360°view monitor system aiming. (With 360°view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)

8.  Perform the front radar sensor/front side radar sensor aiming. (With front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR/FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

9.  Perform the front radar sensor aiming. (Without front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

Rear bumper slider

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Trunk side upper trim (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Set the trunk side trim aside. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Trunk side insulator (See TRUNK SIDE INSULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear combination lights (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear over fender (See REAR OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the screw and the nut.

6.  Press the hook tabs of the rear bumper slider to release the rear bumper slider hook tabs from the rear fender panel.

Caution

•  When removing, pull the rear bumper slider straight out from the rear fender panel so as not to damage the rear bumper slider pin.

7.  Detach the pin, and remove the rear bumper slider.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

9.  Perform the rear side radar sensor aiming. (See REAR SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)
