REAR SEAT HINGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Rear Seat Hinge (RH)

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk side upper trim (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear pillar trim (See REAR PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Tire house trim(See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

3.  Remove the bolt.

4.  Remove the rear seat hinge (RH).

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Seat Hinge (LH)

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk side upper trim (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear pillar trim (See REAR PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Tire house trim(See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

(8)  Rear buckle (LH) (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Rear center seat belt anchor (See REAR SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolt.

4.  Remove the rear seat hinge (LH).

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Seat Hinge (CENTER)

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear buckle (LH) (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear center seat belt anchor (See REAR SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolt.

4.  Remove the rear seat hinge (CENTER).

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
