SHROUD PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Remove the following parts:
- (1) Seal board upper (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

- (2) Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

- (3) Front combination light (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (4) Set plate (See SET PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (5) Energy-absorbing form (See ENERGY-ABSORBING FORM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (6) Front under cover No.1 (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (7) Bumper stiffener lower (See BUMPER STIFFENER LOWER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (8) Charge air cooler (See CHARGE AIR COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
-
- (9) Shroud upper member (See SHROUD UPPER MEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (10) Front bumper reinforcement (See FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (11) Radar unit (See RADAR UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (12) Bonnet latch (See BONNET LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (13) Crash zone sensor (See CRASH ZONE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM].)

- (14) Ambient temperature sensor (See AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

- (15) Fresh-air duct installation bolt (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

3. Remove wiring harness clips A and B.
4. Relocate the bonnet stay to the position shown in the figure.
5. Press down the upper mount rubber bracket tabs in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure, pull them out toward the vehicle rear, and then remove the upper mount rubber brackets.
6. While pulling up the radiator in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, move the shroud panel in the direction of arrow (2) and detach it from the radiator mount guides.

• Detach the shroud panel from the radiator mount guides using two people.
7. Remove the shroud panel.

• After removing the shroud panel, support the lower side of the radiator using a floor jack so that the radiator does not fall.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
9. Perform the headlight aiming adjustment. (See HEADLIGHT AIMING.)
10. Perform the radar unit aiming adjustment. (See RADAR UNIT AIMING.)
