DETECTION CONDITION
|
• information display/multi information display power supply circuit voltage is higher than 16 V when the ignition is ON.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• PCM DTC is stored
• Battery malfunction
• Generator malfunction
• Information display/multi information display malfunction

CONFIRM PCM DTC
• Perform the DTC Reading Procedure to confirm the PCM DTC.
• Are any DTCs present?

Yes
|
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

(See DTC TABLE [MZR-CD 2.2].)
(See DTC TABLE [L3 Turbo].)

No

Go to the next step.

INSPECT BATTERY
• Inspect the battery.
(See BATTERY INSPECTION [LF, L5].)
(See BATTERY INSPECTION [ZY, Z6].)
• Is there any malfunction?

Yes
|
Replace the battery, then go to Step 4.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

INSPECT GENERATOR
• Inspect the generator.
• Is there any malfunction?
|
Yes
|
Replace the generator, then go to the next step.

No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
• Clear the DTC from information display/multi information display using the M-MDS.
• Switch the ignition to ON.
• Perform the “DTC INSPECTION” to confirm the information display/multi information display DTC.
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes
|
Replace the information display/multi information display, then go to the next step.

No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
• Are any DTCs present?

Yes
|
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No
|
DTC troubleshooting completed.
