―  “Improper Adblue® Speed Will Be Limited in 50.No start in 700 km”
―  “Excessive emissions use proper Adblue®
―  “Vehicle speed restricted Improper start in 650 km”
―  “Engine start disabled Improper Adblue®
―  “Dosing Malfunction Speed Will Be Limited to 50 km. No start in 700 km”

•  Improper AdBlue® level
•  PCM DTC is stored.

―  Urea hose malfunction (AdBlue® leakage)
―  Urea tank malfunction (AdBlue® leakage)
―  Urea level sensor malfunction
―  Urea temperature sensor malfunction
―  Urea quality sensor malfunction
―  Urea tank heater malfunction
―  Urea hose heater malfunction
•  Exhaust gas temperature sensor No.4 malfunction
•  Exhaust gas temperature sensor No.5 malfunction
•  NOx sensor No.1/No.2 malfunction
•  Improper AdBlue® used
•  Inferior fuel used (sulfur content is high)
•  Instrument cluster malfunction

INSPECT FOR MALFUNCTION DUE TO LACK OF REMAINING AdBlue®
•  Verify the AdBlue® level.
Without multi-information display
―  Access the following PIDs using the M-MDS:
•  RE_TANK_LV
With multi-information display
―  Press the INFO switch to verify the AdBlue® level in the multi information display.
•  Is the AdBlue® level 65% or more?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Add AdBlue®.
Go to Step 10.

VERIFY PCM DTC
•  Retrieve PCM DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY DOSING CONTORL UNIT DTC
•  Retrieve dosing control unit DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT FOR AdBlue® LEAKAGE FROM SCR SYSTEM
•  Visually inspect the following:
―  AdBlue® leakage from the urea injector, SCR converter, hose, pipe, urea tank
―  Clamp installation condition for each hose and pipe
―  Securing condition of each part due to deterioration such as clamp rubber
•  Are all items normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results, then go to Step 10.

INSPECT SCR SYSTEM RELATED PARTS
•  Inspect the following parts:
―  Urea injector
―  Urea level sensor
―  Urea temperature sensor
―  AdBlue® quality sensor
―  Urea tank heater
―  Urea hose heater
•  Are all items normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results, then go to Step 10.
•  AdBlue® quality sensor:
•  Urea tank heater, urea hose heater:

INSPECT EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR No.4/No.5
•  Inspect the exhaust gas temperature sensor No.4/No.5.
•  Is the exhaust gas temperature sensor No.4/No.5 normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results, then go to Step 10.

INSPECT NOx SENSOR NO.1/NO.2
•  Inspect the NOx sensor No.1/No.2.
•  Is the NOx sensor No.1/No.2 normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results, then go to Step10.

INSPECT FOR MALFUNCTION DUE TO POOR AdBlue®
•  Replace the AdBlue®.
•  Does the symptom disappear?
Yes
Advise the customer as to the change in the AdBlue® used, then go to Step 10.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
•  Inspect the instrument cluster.
•  Is the instrument cluster normal?
Yes
Replace the SCR converter, then go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results, then go to the next step.
10
VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
•  Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?
Yes
Complete the symptom troubleshooting.(Explain repair contents to customer)
No
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
